Butler's satyr

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown on the upperside, with two dark brown submarginal lines. The forewings have a black subapical ocellus and the hindwings have a black tornal ocellus, each with a whitish pupil and yellow outline. The underside of the wings is light brown with two dark brown bands running from costa to dorsum. The forewings have three subapical ocelli, one black and two brown, each with two purplish pupils and a yellow outline. There is a yellow patch below the ocelli on the forewings. The hindwings have five ocelli in the outer postdiscal and subapical regions. The second ocellus from the apex and the one closest to the tornus are black, while the one closest to the apex and the other two in the middle are brown. Each ocellus has two purplish pupils and a yellow outline.
