Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, with two dark brown submarginal lines and a black tornal ocellus on the hindwings. The ocellus has a whitish pupil and brown outline. The underside of the wings is brown with two dark brown bands running from costa to dorsum. The forewings have three subapical ocelli, one black and two brown, each with two purplish pupils and a yellow outline. The hindwings have five ocelli in the outer postdiscal and subapical regions. The two closest to the apex and the one closest to the tornus are black, while the other two in between are brown, each with two purplish pupils and a yellow outline.
