Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a central orange band on the forewings and orange from mid to base of the hindwings (excepting the costa and dorsum). The forewings have three postbasal orange markings, eight small yellowish submarginal and outer postdiscal spots, and three orange submarginal markings at mid-termen. The hindwings also have three orange submarginal markings at mid-termen. The orange markings appear yellow on the underside. The orange region from mid to base on the hindwings appears as three connected yellow band-like markings, including a central yellow band, on the underside. The hindwings have seven whitish-yellow spots in the outer postdiscal region on the underside. Also, instead of the three orange submarginal markings at mid-termen, there are large yellow submarginal markings from apex to tornus on the underside.
