Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown on the upperside, with a blue tint from mid to dorsum on the hindwings. The underside of the wings is alternating stripes of dark brown, brown and bluish-purple (not in that particular order from base to margin). The forewings have a black bipupilled subapical ocellus with a bluish pupil and yellow outline. The hindwings have three black bipupilled ocelli in the outer postdiscal and subapical regions, each with bluish pupils and a yellow outline followed by a thinner brown outline. Two of the ocelli are in the subapical region while one is above the tornus. There are two bluish elongated oval markings with yellow outline between the subpapical ocelli and the ocellus above the tornus.
