Blue-smudged satyr

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown on the upperside, with a purplish tint from mid to dorsum on the hindwings. The underside of the wings is alternating stripes of brown and purplish-blue. The forewings have a black subapical ocellus with a silverish-purple pupil and yellow outline. The hindwings have three black ocelli in the outer postdiscal and subapical regions, each with a silverish-purple pupil and yellow outline followed by a thinner brown outline. Two of the ocelli are in the subapical region while one is above the tornus. There are two purplish markings with yellow outline between the subpapical ocelli and the ocellus above the tornus.
