Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with an orange band at the submargin and subapex of the forewings and at the margin and submargin of the hindwings. The forewings have three small white apical markings. The wings are brown on the underside with a black subapical ocellus (with a small white pupil and brown outline) on the forewings and six postdiscal ocelli on the hindwings. The two ocelli closest to the costa on the hindwings are orangish-brown, while the remaining four are black with a brown crescent-shaped marking and orangish-brown outline.
