Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with no distinctive marking, except for a black tornal spot on the hindwings. The underside of the wings is dark brown from mid to base and a lighter shade of brown elsewhere. The wings have two dark brown wavy lines in the outer postdiscal and submarginal regions. There is also a dark brown wavy line in the postbasal region. The forewings have a large black bipupilled ocellus in the upper postdiscal and subapical regions. The pupils are white, and the ocellus has a yellow outline followed by a thinner dark brown outline. The hindwings have a black ocellus above the tornal spot, with a white pupil and yellow and dark brown outlines. There are three tiny white spots occurring in a row above the ocellus on the hindwings.
