Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with a thin yellowish-brown band running from subapex to mid-dorsum of the forewings. The inner side of the band is a slightly lighter shade of brown. The hindwings are also a slightly lighter shade of brown with an iridescent blue tint from mid (the region where this pattern begins is in line with the band on the forewings) to base (the bluish tint fades from mid to base). The hindwings also have an iridescent blue tint along the margins and submargins of the termen. The underside of the wings is a marbled brown, with the band appearing creamish-brown. The forewings have a subapical black ocellus with a yellowish-brown outline. The hindwings have two ocelli, one located at the postbasal region and one located mid-dorsum. The postbasal ocellus is brown and has a small yellowish partial crescent and a black outline. The mid-dorsum ocellus is black and has a faint white crescent, crowned by a bit of brown, and a whole yellowish outline followed by a black outline.
