Wing span:

Identification: The wings are blue on the upperside with dark brown margins, submargins (excepting the dorsum) and apex, as well as the subapex of the forewings. The hindwings have a dark brown submarginal line. The underside of the wings is blue with dark brown lines running from costa to dorsum. The forewings have a black subapical ocellus with yellow and dark brown outlines. The hindwings have two black ocelli in the outer postdiscal region, each with a yellow outline and a thinner dark brown outline.
