Wing span:

Identification: The wings are blue on the upperside with dark brown margins, submargins (excepting the dorsum) and apex. The hindwings have a dark brown submarginal line. The underside of the wings is blue with dark brown lines running from costa to dorsum. The forewings have a black subapical ocellus with blue and dark brown outlines. The hindwings have five black ocelli in the outer postdiscal region, each with a blue outline and a thinner dark brown outline.
