Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and variegated dark brown and light brown on the underside. The upperside of the forewings has two white apical spots, an orange outer postdiscal band, and a broad purplish-blue band on the postbasal and discal regions. Only the apical spots are visible on the underside. The forewings also have a black ocellus (with blue pupil and light brown outline) below the apical spots, and a light brown discal spot above the dorsum on the underside. The hindwings are tapered at the tornus.
