Wing span:

Identification: The upperside of the forewings is iridescent violet-blue from base to postdiscal and pale mint green to the submargins, with dark brown margins. The hindwings have a similar pattern, but less iridescent violet-blue (only a small central patch present). The underside of the forewings is brown, except for the costal region, apex, subapex and termen margin and submargin - all of which are pale mint green. The underside of the hindwings is entirely pale mint green with a central c-shaped lime green band outlined by a broken black line. Eight black spots are found in the centre of the lime green band. Additionally, the hindwings have a broken black line at the termen, and the veins are black. The base of both fore- and hindwings are bright red.
