Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with black vertical lines, and a central white band from mid to dorsum on the forewings and from the costa to above the tornus on the hindwings. The forewings have an orange subapical patch (which appears whitish on the underside) and the hindwings have an orange patch at the tornus. The central band has a reddish outline on the underside. There are also small white spots on the underside between the base and the band on the forewings, each with a heavy black outline. The wings have two whitish broken submarginal lines on the underside.
