Mutina midistreak

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, with a white dorsal margin on the hindwings. Males are iridescent blue from mid to dorsum on the forewings and from mid to the cell above the dorsum on the hindwings. There are two tail-like projections on the hindwings. The underside of the wings is white with dark brown markings and brown submarginal lunules. Each wing has a brown and white line running from costa to dorsum, with those on the hindwings being wavy. The hindwings also have a brown and white postbasal spot, and two white-crowned black tornal ocelli. The body is dark brown on the upperside and creamish-brown on the underside.
