Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, with a white dorsal margin on the hindwings. Males are iridescent blue from mid to dorsum on the forewings and from mid to the cell above the dorsum on the hindwings. There are two tail-like projections on the hindwings. The underside of the wings is white with orangish-brown markings and brown submarginal lunules. The forewings have an orangish-brown line running from mid to costa, while the hindwings have two broken orangish-brown lines running from costa to dorsum. The hindwings have two orange-crowned black tornal ocelli. The body is dark brown on the upperside and white on the underside.
