Lisus hairstreak

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are iridescent blue on the upperside with dark brown margins, except for the dorsal margin of the forewings which is iridescent blue. Females have a dull iridescent blue upperside and broader dark brown edges. There are two tail-like projections on the hindwings in both males and females. The underside of the wings is brown with two brown lines running vertically from mid to costa on the forewings and from costa to dorsum on the hindwings. These lines have a little bit of iridescent green and are more wavy on the hindwings. Additionally, the hindwings have an inner white broken line running from inner costa to inner dorsum.
