Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with iridescent blue from mid to dorsum of the forewings and all of the hindwings, excepting the margins and submargins of both fore- and hindwings. The hindwings have two tail-like projections, one hair-like and one stub-like. The underside of the wings is brown with a white broken line running vertically from mid to costa on the forewings and from costa to dorsum on the hindwings. There are other white markings near the white broken line on the hindwings. The dorsum of the forewings is light brown on the underside.
