Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with white fringe. The forewings have a faint black spot below the costa and an orange submarginal patch at the dorsum. The hindwings have an orange band along the termenal margin (but not at the apex) that spans the outer postdiscal and submarginal regions. The hindwings have two tail-like projections. The wings are brown on the underside with dark brown margins. The forewings have a broken black line running vertically from mid to costa and the hindwings have a broken black wavy line running from costa to dorsum. The orange band near the margin of the hindwings is also visible on the underside and has some white spots on the outline. The hindwings have two black tornal ocelli, one with a white crown and the other with the orange band crowning it.
