Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside with iridescent blue from mid to dorsum on the forewings and all of the hindwings, excepting the margins and submargins of both fore- and hindwings. The dorsum of the hindwings is light brown, and the apex of the hindwings is dark brown. The hindwings have two tail-like projections near the tornus, one hair-like and one stub-like. The underside of the wings is light brown with faint white submarginal lunules and a postdiscal white line running vertically from mid to costa on the forewings and from costa to dorsum on the hindwings (wavy on the hindwings). The hindwings have two orange-crowned black tornal ocelli. The dorsum of the forewings is whitish on the underside, and there is a dark brown spot near the base and dorsum on the underside of the forewings. The body is dark brown on the upperside with a little bit of iridescent blue, and light brown on the underside.
