There are two black spots and two tail-like projections near the tornus of the hindwings. The underside of the wings is creamish-white with a purplish tint, and dotted with black spots and short lines, giving a speckled appearance. Males have a greenish tint on the underside from mid to dorsum of the forewings; this appears light brown in females.
