Wing span:

Identification: The wings are bright iridescent blue on the upperside with dark brown margins, submargins (except for the dorsum of the forewings which is iridescent blue), apex and subapex. The forewings have a dark brown spot near the costa. The hindwings have a tail-like projection near the tornus, and white cilia at the tornus. The underside of the wings is light brown with red bases. The forewings have a central white line running vertically from mid to costa. There is a bit of white outside of the red base of the forewings, at the costa. There is also a black and white spot outside of the red base of the hindwings. The hindwings have a dark brown and white wavy postdiscal line running vertically from mid to dorsum. The tornus of the hindwings is dark brown with a yellowish crown.
