Calus groundstreak

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, with iridescent blue from mid to dorsum of the forewings and all of the hindwings except at the dorsum, margins and submargins. The hindwings have two tail-like projections near the tornus. There are also small white bristle-like hairs at the tornus of the hindwings. The underside of the wings is yellow, with a brown and white line running vertically on the hindwings and a dark brown patch at the costa of the forewings. The hindwings have a black tornal ocellus. The body is dark brown, except for the underside of the abdomen which is yellow.
