Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown and white on the upperside. The forewings are white from mid to base while the hindwings are white all over except along the margin and submargin. The forewings have a central black spot. The underside of the wings is dark brown with broad white bands. The submargins are orange on the underside (mid to dorsum on the forewings; all of the hindwings). The dorsum is also orange on the underside of the hindwings. The hindwings have a tail-like, hair-like projection near the tornus.
