Gold-washed skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and orange on the underside, with orange fringe. The forewings have an orange band starting form the subapex and extending to the downwards to the dorsum and inwards along the dorsum to the base. The costa of the forewings is orange. The area outside of the orange sections on the upperside of the forewings are dark brown on the underside. The upperside of the hindwings has a central orange patch, orange dorsum, and orange cell above the dorsum.
