Subrufescens skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and a lighter shade of brown on the underside, with yellow fringe. The forewings have three central white spots and one subapical white spot in males. In females, the forewings have four central white spots, one yellow spot below the central spots (just above the dorsum), and two subapical white spots. The forewings are dark brown from mid to dorsum on the underside. The veins appear yellow on the underside of the hindwings. The body is yellow on the underside.
