Velinus skipper

Wing span:

Identification: Tailed butterfly with brown wings and light brown fringe. The tail is dark brown. The forewings have a central oblique transparent band with a transparent spot adjacent to this band, and three smaller subapical transparent spots. The underside of the hindwings has two dark brown bands and a dark brown postbasal spot. The upperside of the body and basal area of the hindwings are slightly iridescent green.
