Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with white fringe. The forewings have a white discal band starting from the costa and going a bit past midway. The dorsum on the underside of the forewings is purplish. The thorax and wing bases are bright orange on the upperside. The abdomen is black with white transverse stripes. The hindwings have an iridescent greenish-blue parafocal band and a central whitish band on the upperside; these are connected by an iridescent green strip. The underside of the hindwings have two pale iridescent green bands and one iridescent green spot between the two bands.
