Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and light brown on the underside, with faint black bands and light brown fringe. The forewings have two central white spots and three subapical white spots. The dorsum of the forewings and mid to dorsum of the hindwings are white on the underside. The body is dark brown on the upperside and whitish on the underside. 

Variation: There is variation in the number of central and subapical spots on the forewings. There is also variation in the amount of white on the underside of the wings.
