Herennius blue-skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with dark brown fringe. The forewings have eight central white spots and four subapical white spots. The margin and submargin along the termen have a blue tinge on the upperside of the hindwings. The underside of the hindwings is also has a blue tinge except for three dark brown vertical bands as well as along the costa, around the apex and the cell above the dorsum which is grey. The body is dark brown on the upperside and grey on the underside.
