Propertius skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and lighter shade of brown on the underside, with white fringe. The forewings have orange costa, two central transparent spots, one orange spot below the central spots (just above the dorsum), and a subapical orange patch (markings appear white on the underside). The hindwings have a central oblique orange band on the upperside. The underside of the hindwings has two broad white bands: one just below and parallel with the costal margin and the other extending from apex to dorsum.
