Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown, with iridescent blue tint on the upperside and bright yellow on the underside at the base of the forewings and all of the hindwings except the termenal margins. The forewings have three white spots in a central oblique band, five subapical white spots and one white spot between the two bands. 

Variation: There is variation in the amount of iridescent blue on the upperside.
