Almoda skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown with light brown fringe. The forewings have two central transparent spots, one white spot below the central spots (just above the dorsum), and two subapical transparent spots. The apex of the forewings and all of the hindwings except the dorsum and cell above the dorsum have a purple tint and yellow veins on the underside. The underside of the hindwings has a central yellow band bordered by a black spot on the inner side and a light blue band consisting of several spots on the outer side.
