Samson flasher

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with a central oblique band consisting of five white spots on the forewings. The body and wing bases are iridescent green, as well as the dorsum of the hindwings. The wings from mid to outer edges are iridescent blue. The costa is dark brown and the dorsum on the underside of the forewings is purplish. 

Variation: There is variation in the amount of iridescent blue and green covering the wings and body.
