Mango skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The body is orange. The forewings are dark brown, with orange base, costa and dorsum. There is a central orange band starting from the dorsum and extending to the subapical area on the forewings, and two subapical orange spots (appears as three spots on the underside). The apical and subapical areas are also orange on the underside of the forewings. The hindwings are orange with dark brown costa (costa is orange on the underside) and cell above the dorsum. All of the hindwings (except the edges) are a lighter shade of orange on the underside, with a few deeper orange spots that give a checkered pattern.
