Calcarea skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings and body are dark brown on the upperside and light brown on the underside, with orangish-brown fringe. The forewings have three transparent and one yellowish spot in a central band, and two subapical transparent spots. The hindwings have a central band consisting of small yellow spots (this band appears faintly on the underside). The veins appear yellowish on the underside of the wings. On the underside, the forewings are dark brown from the base (except at the costa) to subapical area, and the hindwings are dark brown in the two cells above the dorsum.
