Wing span:

Identification: The forewings are dark brown on the upperside with orange costa, dorsum and central oblique band from the dorsum up to the subapex. The hindwings are orange on the upperside, except at the edges which are dark brown. The wings are orange on the underside, with dark brown bases (except at the costa), dark brown dorsum that extends for a short distance upwards near the termen, and a dark brown patch on the forewings. The cell above the dorsum is dark brown on the underside of the hindwings. The body is orange and the wings have orange fringe.
