Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside a greyish-green tint from the base to mid region of the forewings and all of the hindwings except the costal region. The forewings are dark brown on the underside with white costa and dorsum, while the hindwings are white on the underside with broad dark brown termenal margins and tornus. The forewings have six white spots, three smaller white spots along the costa, and five small white spots in a subapical band. The upperside of the hindwings has a central white patch. 

Variation: There is variation in the greyish-green tint covering the wings.
