Tear-drop skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown with dark brown fringe. The forewings have one transparent subapical spot and one discal black spot containing a small transparent spot near the costa. There is a yellow patch on the underside of the forewings just above the dorsum. The dorsum is yellow on the upper- and underside of the hindwings. On the underside of the hindwings, there are three yellow bands parallel with the termen and two yellow postbasal spots. The cell above the dorsum is also yellow on the underside. The body is dark brown on the upperside and light brown on the underside.
