Giant Entheus

Wing span:

Identification: This species is sexually dimorphic. Males have dark brown wings with a bright orange central oblique band on the forewings along with a subapical band consisting of six yellow spots, and a yellow spot between the two bands. Females have dark brown forewings with four white spots and a subapical band consisting of six smaller white spots. There is also an orange patch at the base of the forewings, which appears lighter on the underside. The hindwings are white with dark brown margins all around except on the dorsum. The central white extends further to the costal margins on the underside of the hindwings.
