Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside, with a white patch from mid to dorsum of the hindwings (above the tornus) and white fringe on the hindwings. The lower part of the abdomen is also white on the upperside. On the underside, the entire body is white. The forewings are dark brown on the underside with pale violet edges at the termen, a white postdiscal band that runs parallel with the termen from subapex to dorsum, a white patch at the costa near the base, and a white spot between the white patch at the costa and the subapical white band. The hindwings are white on the underside (except the tornus which is dark brown) with dark brown veins and pale violet edges at the termen.
