Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown with light brown fringe. The costa of the forewings has a yellow patch. The upperside of the forewings has a broad greyish edge along the apex and termen. The hindwings have a central oblique yellow band which is more visible on the underside. This species is sexually dimorphic. In females, the central band on the hindwings is whitish instead of yellow. Additionally, females have seven white spots on the forewings, starting from the subapex and extending (parallel with the termen) to the dorsum.
