Dumeril skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown on the upperside and light brown on the underside. The forewings have seven transparent spots, of which three occur in a subapical band. The costal and dorsal region near the base of the wings is yellow. The hindwings have two yellow oblique central bands, which appear white on the underside. The underside of the wings is tinted with purplish-blue, especially on the hindwings. 

Variation: There is variation in the amount of purplish-blue color on the underside of the wings.
