Identification: The wings are orange-brown with dark brown submarginal lines and light brown fringe. The head, thorax and wing bases are dark brown to black, while the abdomen is orange-brown. The underside of the forewings has a white tint at the apex. The underside of the hindwings has a whitish tint (especially cell 4) between orange-brown veins. =
