Wing span:

Identification: The wings are dark brown and bright iridescent blue at the base. The body is also bright iridescent blue on the upperside. There is a white oblique central band on the forewings and the dorsum region of the forewings is also white on the underside. 

Variation: The white color of the dorsum region on the underside of the forewings is continuous with the white oblique central band in some specimens.
