Spotted scarlet-eye

Wing span:

Identification: Males and females are similar and are dark brown in colour. Forewings have eight white spots, three of which are smaller and located subapically in a slanted band. The upperside of the hindwings has six white spots, four of similar size and two smaller ones. The underside of the hindwings has nine white spots of similar size.
