Crinisus skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The body and wings are orange at the base with dark brown margins on the upperside. The forewings each have ten yellow spots on the upperside and two extra spots on the underside (total of twelve on the underside). Three are found in a line at the apex on both upper- and underside. On the upperside, three are found in an oblique band, then two outside of this centrally along the wings, and another two between these and the apical spots. On the underside, five are found in an oblique band, then two outside of this centrally along the wings, and another two between these and the apical spots. The underside of the hindwings has two orange bands with the inner band (closer to the base of the wings) being thicker of the two. The inner band is broken between anals 1b and 2.
