Wing span:

Identification: The wings are brown with orangish fringe. Females have two central transparent spots and five subapical transparent spots (three together and two adjacent) on the forewings. Males have a central black patch surrounded by orange and the five subapical spots are orange instead of transparent. The dorsum on the upperside and the costa on the underside of the forewings are orange. The upperside of the hindwings has an orange patch, which appears as an 'L' shaped light brown pattern on the underside. This pattern is less pronounced in males.
