Schaus' flasher

Wing span:

Identification: The wings are iridescent blue on the upperside with tinges of dark brown on the margins. The forewings each have six white spots on the upper- and underside, of which five form an oblique central band and one is found outside of these. There is also a white fringe at the margin between cells 1 and 3 of the forewings, and a white fringe along the outer margin of the hindwing underside as well as a grey border extending from the lower base of the hindwing underside along the outer margin.

Variation: A yellow spot may be present or absent in the discoidal cell of the hindwing underside.
