Broad-banded flasher
Wing span:
Identification: The wings are tinted blue on the upperside with green bases. The green tint extends further out from the base on the underside of the hindwings. There is a central oblique band consisting of six white spots on the upper- and underside of the forewings. The body is covered with iridescent green fur.
Variation: There is variation in the amount of iridescent blue on the wings.

Adult food: Bird droppings of flower nectar
