Perfida skipper

Wing span:

Identification: The upperside of the wings are dark brown with orange costa and a central orange band on the forewings (from base to subapical region) that curves upward around an orange cell to join with the costa. The upperside of the hindwings is orange except for the margins. The fringe is orange and the upperside of the body has an orangish tint. The wing veins are dark brown on the upperside and visible in the orange parts. The underside of the wings is orange with dark brown costa and base of the forewings (extends upwards in the marginal and discal regions).
